Hell

Hell is the obvious afterlife counterpart to Heaven, but it differs from many common religious texts in that, upon arrival, the dead are awarded a 1982 Subaru Brat. Additionally, Hell appears to have many of the creature comforts of our own realm -- in Ray's and Roast Beef's travels, they pass a KFC, a 7-Eleven, a Friendly's, and a Best Western, where Ray meets Robert Johnson, gets drunk, and is taunted by flowers in the wallpaper, who are inhabited by the souls of people he has wronged in his life: a young Asian man he guaranteed would never get laid, a puppy he flicked a booger to, and a retarded man whose breakfast he paid for.

If one tries to contact someone on Earth from a pay telephone in Hell, the recipient of the call thinks that one is a telemarketer. Presumably, something similar would happen with any other method of communication. It would seem this is how we get junk mail and spam.

At the Friendly's establishment that Roast Beef and Ray visit, they find that Todd the Squirrel is also in "Hades". Todd tells the pair that directions to escape Hell are printed on the "hidden page" of the menu, which is seen by letting your eyes relax. Friendly's restaurants are apparently "Hellmouths" and serve as a gateway between Hell and Earth, all one has to do is enter a restroom stall in the restaurant, look directly into the center of the bowl and answer the secret riddle that is written on the menu (each person receives a different riddle).
