Philippe Becomes A Communist

Philippe becomes a communist in a blog-only story arc. He is inspired to become a communist by one of Téodor's posters from history. But since he doesn't ask anyone what communism actually is, he goes on assuming it means cleaning the house. Lyle teaches him how to do communism sit-ups and push-ups (which involve saying "Hammer!" going up and "Sickle!" going down).

No one else seems to catch on to communism despite Philippe's efforts and notes encouraging them. He seems especially disappointed by Téodor's lack of concern for communism. Mr. Bear just goes in the room and reads a book for six hours, and Lyle doesn't get the message that he should try communism sometime and replace the empty toilet paper roll. After two months of these failures, Philippe seems ready to give up, but is still planning a special Communism Sunday in the hopes that he might reach the others.
