I put her first appearance as the 1st time we see Philippe talk to her on the phone as opposed to the 1st time we actually get to see her. Also, I don't think she qualifies as minor. Thoughts? --CortJstr 02:32, 17 May 2005 (GMT)
She's on the top end of Peripheral, to be sure, but I'm in agreement that that's where she is. If she ever proves to be a pivotal character in a story arc, that'd be enough to move her up, but she sends Philippe gifts and rejected the advances of Vlad. And that's about it.
I'd go with the first time Philippe talks to her on the phone for the appearance date, too. At some point, there will be a page about Ray's Mom, and best as I can recall, we haven't seen her yet, even though we've seen phone calls with her. --Golfhaus 06:41, 17 May 2005 (GMT)
I guess I'm going to be the dissenting vote and say her first appearance is... um, her first APPEARANCE. Like, when she first appears in the strip. I don't know if hearing someone else talk about someone means an appearance. --Jough 07:29, 17 May 2005 (GMT)
This is why I haven't added Tina because she's in the same boat. Ray mentions her long before we ever see her. I was mainly unsure w/ Philippe's Mom is that in the stip I linked we don't even "hear" her talk, it's all Philippe.

Perhaps what we should do then is make first appearance be the first time they show up, and then mention in the entry itself that we first learned of them on such-and-such date, when so-and-so talked to them on the phone or whatever? I think it's important to note the first time we are made aware of a character somewhere, if not necessarily the infobox. --Golfhaus 14:26, 17 May 2005 (GMT)
