Trader Joe's is a national chain of yuppie food stores. Its customers tend to walk around in a sensory-overload trance, amazed at how much amazing International food there is, regardless of how many times they've gone there.

Teodor and Mr. Bear once commiserated over the shoddy wine they bought there, and many of Pat's blog entries describe some experience he had at Trader Joe's that really pissed him off.
